Tuesday, Dec. 29Merit badge classes, 4 class periods
Wednesday, Dec. 30Campsite breakdown, and check-out

Merit Badge Program

We are planning to offer a combination of Eagle-required and elective merit badges.

  • Eagle-required merit badges: 3 hours each day, for a total of 6 hours of class time.
  • Elective merit badges: 1.5 hours each day, for a total of 3 hours of class time.
Merit Badge Instructors Needed

A great Winter Summit program depends on the adults who attend with our troops. We ask each participating troop to ensure that at least one adult leader is available to teach a merit badge class.

If you are a registered Merit Badge Counselor and are willing to teach, please contact Lokahi Molale at lokahi.molale@scouting.org .

Adults attending camp who are not currently registered as Merit Badge Counselors may be able to receive temporary approval specifically for Winter Summit. Please contact Lokahi if you are interested in helping.

Deposit, Cancellation & Refund Policy

Planning and purchasing for Winter Summit takes place well in advance. Deposits and refund deadlines help Aloha Council secure the resources necessary to provide a quality camp experience.

Deposit Policy: A per-Scout deposit is due at registration. Deposits are not transferable to another participant except in the case of a one-for-one Scout replacement.

Refunds: Participants who cancel by November 1, 2026 may receive a refund of fees paid, less the non-refundable deposit and a 15% administrative charge. Refund requests submitted after November 1 will be considered on a case-by-case basis. No refunds will be issued after November 30, 2026.

Considerations for exceptions may include military service, a death in the family, a major medical situation, or other extenuating circumstances and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original form of payment associated with the registration.

Cancellation Requests
All cancellations must be submitted by email to camping104@scouting.org and will be reviewed by the Scout Executive.
