What units can do to help?
•Scouting for Clean Waterways service projects can be held anytime and anywhere there is a need
•Scheduling the activity each year between April and June, as an Earth Day, or as a Scouts Trash the Trash Day activity are the most popular options
•Waterways and the areas around them, parks, and recreation areas are all ideal locations for Scouting for Clean Waterways service projects
•Service projects should last between 1-2 hours for Cub Scouts, or 2-4 hours for Scouts Venturers & Sea Scouts
Mission: Earth Day Good Turn 2025
•Goals: 5000 hours Council-wide During the month of April
•100% Unit Involvement Council-wide
•1-2 hours of Related Service for Cubs
•2-4 Hours Service for Troops, Crews, Ships
•Units Report Activities to Outdoor Ethics Committee to Earn Scouting For Clean Waterways And Conservation Good Turn Awards
•Share photos and stories to Scouting for Clean Waterways Facebook Pages
