2026 Aloha Council Spring Camporee: “Pirates of Pupukea”

Ahoy, Scouts! Hoist your sails, ready your compass, and prepare to set course for adventure at our Pirates of Pupukea Spring Camporee, where the spirit of the sea meets the heart of Scouting!

Join your fellow Aloha Council crews (and troops) for a weekend of high-seas challenges, treasure-hunting fun, and friendly competition atop the scenic cliffs of Camp Pupukea, overlooking the sparkling waters of Oahu’s legendary North Shore. Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or a landlubber new to Scouting, there’s a voyage of discovery waiting for you!

What’s in Store:

Prepare to test your Scouting skills through pirate-themed challenges that blend teamwork, cunning, and courage. Patrols will rotate through engaging stations designed to bring out the leader and adventurer in every Scout:

• Navigate by the stars and compass as you chart your course across “uncharted waters.”
• Lash together your ship’s rigging with knot-tying and pioneering challenges.
• Prove your mettle in the “Man Overboard” rescue relay and first aid tests.
• Crack the pirate’s code in communication and signaling challenges.
• Hunt for hidden treasure through map clues, puzzles, and teamwork.

Each patrol will earn points for Scout spirit, leadership, and skill—so rally your crew and show your colors proudly!

Saturday Night Highlights:

Cast Iron Chef: Pirate’s Galley Edition – Bring your best ship’s cook and galley crew for a daring outdoor cook-off judged on flavor, creativity, and presentation.

Campfire Under the Jolly Roger – Close the night with songs, skits, and stories from the seven seas as the flames flicker and the stars shine above Pupukea’s shores.

Whether you come seeking glory, gold, or good fun, this Camporee promises a weekend full of adventure, friendship, and the kind of memories only Scouting can deliver.
