KILO HOKU CUBOREE 2017

Attention all registered Cub Scouts!!

      

 

This year’s program, hosted by Bishop Museum, features a full evening of programs!

Don’t miss out on an incredible journey taking you across time and space!

Get ready to be one of the lucky few who have the chance to camp on Bishop Museum’s Great Lawn! PLUS! You will be one of the first to look at their newest family exhibit, Animation Academy: From Pencils to Pixels! (only on display until January 4, 2018)

So grab your tent, and get ready to mark some advancements off your list.

Unlike Outer Space, space is limited, so make sure to register soon!

WHEN

Session 1: Friday to Saturday, Oct 13th – Oct 14th

Session 2: Friday to Saturday, Oct 20th – Oct 21st

 

TIME

Check In & Set Up: Friday 5:00PM

(Bring your own dinner along with your camping gear)

Friday Activities: 7:30PM- 9:05PM

Saturday Breakfast: 7:00AM-8:30AM

Saturday Breakdown: completed by 8:00AM

Saturday Program: 9:00AM -Noon

(Lunch on your own, free to stay and explore the museum)

 

COST

$65.00 per Cub Scout and Participating Youth

$40.00 per Adult

Siblings are welcome; however, the activities would be charged at the same price as Cub Scouts.

Price includes patch, insurance, camp, parking, program and breakfast Saturday.

Breakfast Features: Scones/Danishes, cheddar cheese frittata, bacon & Portuguese sausage, fruit platter, coffee & water stations

All registered adults must have YPT completed and up to date. Please bring a copy of your medical forms to have with you or your unit leader. We will be making sure everyone attending has them on hand.

SATURDAY ACTIVITIES WILL CONNECT YOU TO OUR PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE

  • Guided Tour of Hawaiian Hall

  • Learn about Lava - how our islands were formed

  • Plants of Hawaii in the Native Garden
