Order of the Arrow - Spring Ordeal

Event Details

Everyone in attendance must bring a copy of the Annual Health and Medical Records (AHMR), Parts A & B (see attachments to the right). Scouting America national policy does not permit Aloha Council to receive AMHR forms electronically.  You will not be permitted to attend if you do not have your forms with you at check-in. 

All adults in attendance are required to bring a signed copy of the Scouter Code of Conduct (see attachments to the right).

Ordeal Candidates

Induction Weekend is the primary event for new members to join the Order of the Arrow. The induction ceremony, called the Ordeal, is the first step toward full membership in the Order.

During the Ordeal, candidates will meet a series of challenges that will foster self-reflection and test their commitment to a life of cheerful service. For existing members, Induction Weekend offers a chance to build friendships and serve Scouting in meaningful ways.

The Ordeal is an unforgettable experience. You will be tested both in body and spirit. These tests will help you come to understand your purpose, and how you can serve those around you. Strive to pass these tests with honor. Pay close attention and really try to learn and grow from this incredible experience.

Registration Fees:  $70.00 (youth and adult candidates) Your first year’s dues are included with your registration fee.

Brotherhood Candidates

After 6 months of service as an Ordeal member and fulfilling certain requirements, a member may take part in the Brotherhood ceremony, which places further emphasis on the ideals of Scouting and the Order. Completion of this ceremony signifies full membership in the Order.

Registration Fees:  $40.00 (youth and adult candidates)

Check-in 11 am - Saturday, May 8, 2026**

Check-out 8:30 pm - Saturday, May 9, 2026

**If you prefer to arrive Friday night and stay over, you will be given assignments/tasks as needed.  You will need to bring your own tent.

 

Arrowmen

Registration Fees:  $30.00 (youth and adult arrowmen)

Check-in 7 pm - Friday, May 8, 2026**

Check-out 8:30 pm - Saturday, May 9, 2026

Existing members must have paid their annual dues to attend the event. You may pay your dues online at https://scoutingevent.com/104-2026OAannualdues

**If you arrive Friday night and stay over, you will be given assignments/tasks as needed.  You will need to bring your own tent.  If you prefer to arrive Saturday morning, arrive at 7 am for breakfast and you will be given assignments/tasks as needed.

 

Ordeal Staff

Must be approved by Ordeal Master prior to registering for ordeal.  You will receive a coupon to enter when registering online.  If you do not have a coupon code, you must register as an arrowman.

Registration Fees:  $30 (youth and adult staff)

Check-in 2 pm-6 pm - Friday, May 8, 2026 (dinner is not provided, must bring your own)

Check-out 8:30 pm - Saturday, May 9, 2026
