Order of the Arrow Induction Weekend
Join us for this important step in Scouting’s National Honor Society, the Order of the Arrow (OA). Induction Weekend is the first opportunity for newly elected candidates to seal their membership through cheerful service, fellowship, and reflection.
What to Expect
- Meaningful ceremonies welcoming new candidates into the Order of the Arrow
- Opportunities for service projects benefiting Scouting and our camp
- Fellowship with other Scouts and Arrowmen
- Time for reflection on the values of Scouting and servant leadership
Who Should Attend
- Elected Candidates: This is your opportunity to complete the Induction process and become a member of the Order of the Arrow.
- Current OA Members: We need your help to support ceremonies, service, and fellowship throughout the weekend.
Event Details
- Dates: Friday, October 16 through Sunday, October 18, 2026
- Location: Camp Maluhia
- Friday Arrival Times:
- Volunteers: 5:30 PM
- Ordeal and Brotherhood Candidates: 6:30 PM
- Sunday Pickup: All candidates must be picked up by noon on Sunday.
Fee Schedule
- Ordeal Candidates: $75
- Brotherhood Candidates: $50
- Arrowmen Volunteers: $30
What to Bring
- Full Scout uniform (Field* and Unit Activity*)
- Camping gear, including a tarp
- Personal essentials, including toiletries
- Mess kit
- Work clothes, gloves, and closed-toe shoes for service projects
- Water bottle
- Brown bag dinner for Friday night
- Medical Forms A & B
- A positive attitude for cheerful service!
*Field uniform is also commonly known as Class A. Unit Activity uniform is also commonly known as a Class B T-shirt.
