Employees of Hawaiian Airlines, Inc., and their parent and affiliated companies as well as the immediate family (spouse, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible.

Hawaiian Airlines is excited to partner with the Hawai‘i Department of Education and the Aloha Council, Scouts BSA through an exploring program -  Ka Ho‘okele.  Ka Ho‘okele is a hands-on program that exposes DOE high school students (who are at least 14-years old and have completed eighth grade through 18-years old and are still attending high school) to the world of aviation to promote aviation careers and career skills.

The 12-week program will generally take place on Tuesdays from 5:30 pm – 8:45 pm, beginning in February and continuing through April.  There will be one (1) community service event within the program that will take place on a Saturday morning - time and location will be announced later.  Participants must commit to all dates listed (subject to change).

     *Saturday, February 22, 2020 for Community Service (tentatively from 8:00 am - 12:30 pm)

March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31

April 7, 14, 21

Students will:

• Participate in hands-on learning experiences in Maintenance, Cargo, Flight Division, Air Traffic Control, and more
• Develop career skills, including interviewing, leadership, presentation, and teamwork
• Learn about educational and occupational requirements to achieve a successful career in aviation

5. You will be contacted via email and assigned an Orientation time (evening of Tuesday, January 14, 2020)
6. Interested applicants will be assigned an interview time (Tuesday, January 21, 2020)
