OA Induction

To become a Brotherhood member in the Order of the Arrow, you need to be an active Ordeal member for at least 6 months, be current on your dues, and demonstrate knowledge of the Order's principles, obligation, and song, typically through a Brotherhood conversion event. 

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

• Ordeal Membership: You must first be an Ordeal member of the Order of the Arrow, meaning you've completed the initial induction ceremony. 
• Time as Ordeal Member: Be an active Ordeal member for at least 6 months. 
• Dues: Ensure your lodge dues are paid and current. 
• Knowledge of the Order: Demonstrate knowledge of the Order's principles, the Obligation, and the Official Order of the Arrow Song. 
• Brotherhood Conversion Event: Attend a Brotherhood conversion event offered by your lodge, where you'll be inducted as a Brotherhood member. 
• Additional Responsibilities: Brotherhood members have additional responsibilities and obligations, including service to the Order of the Arrow in addition to continuing service to their unit.
