Notes: Wear closed toed shoes, bring a camp chair, your lunch, water bottle, bug spray/suntan lotion, fishing gear and bait. Some fishing rods will be provided by the DNR.

The Cub Scout Fishing Derby aims to introduce scouts to the joys of fishing, promote outdoor skills, and build lasting friendships. The event promotes responsible environmental stewardship and supports the development of confidence, patience, and teamwork among young participants. The DNR will be onsite to assist in instruction.
