It’s here!! Splash-o-ree is the Greater Tampa Bay Area Council’s weekend full of water-filled fun, adventure, and camping for Cub Scouts Packs and families.  You don’t want to miss out on all the fun! Themed activities, shooting sports (for Cub Scouts only), and plenty of water play to keep cool. We let your Cub Scouts cool off in plenty of fun and safe activities all weekend.

We are Keeping it Safe

All of our camps have plenty of room to spread out our campers and we will be the council COVID 19 safety protocols.  Due to COVID restrictions, we are at limited capacity this year, so please register early to guarantee your spot.  Here are the camp locations:

• Camp Soule - 250 Participants
• Sand Hill - 450 Participants
• Flaming Arrow - 450 Participants

T-Shirt Ordering

T-shirts will be available for pre-order only.  You must order by April 9.  Shirts will be available at the camp for pick up.

$18 Youth Participants, $14 Adult Participants

Who can attend

All registered Tiger Cubs, Wolfs, Bears, Webelos, and Arrow of Light Scouts are encouraged to attend so long as they have at least one parent or guardian who can attend with them. Other family members are welcome to attend, but their participation in events will be limited.  If you are from out of council, feel free to join us!

Meal Plan Available

To make the trip easier for you and your family, a meal plan option is available at select camps.  All meal plans must be pre-purchased.  No substitutions are available.  All meals will be individually packaged.  They wll be picked up in the dining hall and taken to the camp sites.  $20 for the weekend will get you:

• Saturday Breakfast - Pancakes, Sausage Patties, Syrup, Fruit, Butter, Milk, Orange Juice
• Saturday Lunch - Hamburger on bun, Watermelon, Bag of Chips, Baked Beans (vegetarian), Cookie
• Saturday Dinner - Baked Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans (vegetarian), Dinner roll, Chocolate Cake
• Saturday Evening Snack - Ice Cream Sandwich
• Sunday Breakfast - Cereal, Muffin or Danish, Cheese Stick, Fruit, Milk, Apple Juice

You can order the meal plan during registration or add it to the registration later.

Volunteers

Please contact your camp director for the password to register as a volunteer.  If you would like to volunteer and do not know the camp director, please contact David Gaul at: david@navfl.com. 

COVID Information

Council event attendees, including participants and staff, are required to comply with the Council's current COVID protocols. Failure to do so will result in removal from Council properties and/or events and forfeiture of event registration fees.

All participants must submit a pre-medical event checklist and waiver upon entry, All participants will be health screened upon entry.

All Participants must bring a current BSA Medical form (download here).

The Greater Tampa Bay Area Council is committed to offer our Scouts fun and quality programs in a safe manner.  We are adhering to the CDC and ACA (American Camp Association) guidelines as well as working closely with local Health Departments to provide a layered mitigation COVID strategy.  Our COVID mitigation strategies are being overseen by the Council Health Supervisor, a board-certified pediatrician.  For a complete and up to date list of our COVID-19 mitigation procedures, please visit: https://tampabayscouting.org/covid-mitigation-procedures.

In the case of a positive COVID result among participants at an event, GTBAC will follow the guidance of the local Health Department, which may include cancellation or closure of the event or facility.
