Get ready for an exciting day of outdoor fun, energy, and community spirit at the Sand Hill Adventure Run! This event is designed for participants of all ages and abilities, featuring three unique runs that offer something for everyone:
5K Trail Run – Take on a scenic course through Sand Hill Scout Reservation, perfect for runners and walkers looking for a fun challenge.
Turkey Trot (2.5K) – A lighthearted, family-friendly run where costumes are encouraged — come dressed as your favorite turkey and join the fun!
.5 Mile Color Fun Run – A high-energy, colorful experience for all ages, where participants will be covered in bright colors as they make their way through the course.
But the Sand Hill Adventure Run is more than just a race — it’s a full day of activities, excitement, and support for local Scouting programs that help youth grow into leaders of tomorrow.
Volunteers Needed – Be Part of the Adventure!
We are looking for dedicated volunteers to help make this event a success! There are many ways to get involved, including:
Water Stations – Keep runners hydrated along the course
Check-In & Check-Out – Help participants get registered and ready
Food Service – Assist with distributing snacks and refreshments
Color Stations – Bring the fun and energy to the Color Run
Course Support & Setup – Help guide runners and prepare the course
General Event Support – Jump in wherever help is needed most

Vendors
By registering as a food vendor for the Sand Hill Adventure Run, the vendor acknowledges and agrees to the following terms and conditions with the Greater Tampa Bay Area Council, Scouting America (“GTBAC”):
The vendor shall either:
(1) Pay the non-refundable vendor fee of $80.00 in full prior to the event date, or
(2) Agree to remit twenty-five percent (25%) of the vendor’s total gross sales from the day of the Sand Hill Adventure Run to GTBAC before departing Sand Hill Scout Reservation on the day of the event.
Any vendor electing not to pay the $80.00 vendor fee in advance shall automatically be subject to the 25% gross sales payment requirement. Payment must be made in full prior to leaving the event premises.
By completing registration through the event website, the vendor confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions and acknowledges that they are legally responsible for compliance. Failure to comply with these terms may result in denial of future vendor participation and any additional actions deemed appropriate by the Greater Tampa Bay Area Council, Scouting America.
