Who should come? Participants should include: Roundtable staff, Unit trainers – Pack, Troop, Varsity and Venture/Venturing trainers, District and Council trainers, NYLT & Wood Badge staff (required!), Scouters looking to get their Master’s of Scouting Science Degree at Univ. of Scouting, Order of the Arrow trainers, Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leaders, Commissioners, and all Scouters interested in improving their training & presentation skills!
Pre-Course Preparation
Prepare a 10-minute presentation on a topic from any BSA material and be prepared to present this during the course. Bring ALL needed materials and equipment. Your presentation should allow you to demonstrate the skills of a trainer. You will receive constructive feedback on your presentation from other participants. This is an essential part of the course.
Uniform: Boy Scout Field Uniform if you have one and a great attitude!
Cost: $12.00; Includes lunch (if registered by COB Apr 19th) and Edge training materials. Walk-ins welcome on a space-available basis.
