Cub Scout Adventure Day- Fishing and Fossils!

Get ready for a fin-tastic and prehistoric adventure! Our Cub Scouts are diving into the exciting world of fishing and traveling back in time to explore fossils and dinosaurs.

Scouts will learn basic fishing skills, including how to cast a line, tie simple knots, practice water safety, and understand the importance of conservation and respecting wildlife. With a little patience and teamwork, they might even reel in their very first catch!

But the adventure doesn’t stop at the water’s edge. Scouts will also become junior paleontologists as they discover how fossils are formed, identify different types of fossils, and learn fascinating facts about dinosaurs that roamed the Earth millions of years ago. Hands-on activities and fun challenges will bring history to life in a way that sparks curiosity and imagination.

This exciting event promotes outdoor skills, science exploration, teamwork, and a love for nature — all while having tons of fun! Don't forget to suit up for the great outdoors (sunscreen, bug spray, sturdy shoes, and a cool hat). Let's dive into this fishing fiesta!

Mr. Kevin the Hotdog man will be there- $5.00 lunch special, CASH only.  Or you are welcome to bring a bagged lunch.
