USA Archery Level I

Practical Course 

Open to any registered Scouting Volunteer that has completed the USA Archery Level Instructor Online Course prior to May 30 2025, and is 18 years old or older. This course will offer the student the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of all aspects of the USA Archery Level I Instructor program with emphasis on the Greater Tampa Bay Area Council's Archery Program.  

Topics includes the equipment selection, setup, demonstration, shooting, repair and shutdown operations of the Archery Merit Badge Range, 3D Archery Range and the Sand Hill Scout Reservation 120 Yard Clout Range

Online Course Registration is done through the USA Archery Member site (attachment): You must setup an account, then login to it.

When you come back into your account you will see the actual Member Page (attachment): Go down the Left side of the page to "Course Registrations" (highlighted in yellow) and click on that:

The Course Registration page will come up and you will need to scroll down till you find the "USA Archery Level I Instructor Online Course" (attached). The drop down arrow (in Green) brings up a full description of the Course. The Enter Now (in Red) goes directly to the sign up and pay procedure. $40 for the course.

Once you complete the online Course you can Register for our Practical using the same procedure. The setup for the Practical Course must show $0 when it is sanctioned and entered on the USA Archery System.
