Get ready, Scouts! On January 20th from 8:30AM - 2PM, we'll be heading out to the CEMEX quarry for a day of adventure! Cemex is hosting Geology and Mining in Society Merit Badge Class. 

Make sure to meet us at the parking lot where Applebee's is located at 20090 Cortez Blvd, Brooksville. The bus departs at 8:30 am sharp, so don't be late! Keep in mind, personal vehicles aren't allowed on quarry property, so we MUST all travel together on the bus.

Parents or Guardians MUST drop off your Scout and sign paperwork before they board the bus.  The forms are attached. 

Once we arrive, Cemex will provide lunches for all.  Lunch will be publix sandwich rings, chips, fruit and water. If you have dietary restrictions you will need to bring your own lunch. And don't forget to pack your essential scout bag, paper and clipboard, pen or pencil, water bottle, and cell phone (we'll be using Kahoot Platform).

Lastly, to make things run smoother than butter, please bring completed waivers for each Scout and adult. Let's make it a day to remember!
