Cub Scouts Range Master Training

Shooting Sports is looking for new volunteers to help with the Shooting Sports program for Cub Scouts. There will be Range Master training conducted on September 14th at 3 of our Council Camps (Sand Hill, Flaming Arrow, and Soule). It will include the safety guidelines, how to use the equipment, setting up ranges & range operation rules. It will include instruction for Archery, BB rifle, and Wrist Rockets. Participants will need to be over 18 years with the ability to instruct. Range Masters are needed for all Council Cub Scout shooting activities. This includes Cub Day Camp, Family Camps, & Tiger Growl.

The morning will be instruction and the afternoon will be Range operations for Family Camp.There is no cost for the training. Please bring a packed lunch

Those completing the training are expected to assist with a minimum of 2 Council or District events each year (Does NOT include Unit level events)

Where: Sand Hill Scout Reservation OR Flaming Arrow Scout Reservation OR Camp Soule

When: Saturday September 14th - Class runs from 7:30 AM - 6 PM

Cost: FREE - please bring a packed lunch
