Fall Aquatics Training

Aquatic activities can be fun and exciting. But, inadequately supervised, they can also be dangerous. BE PREPARED AND BE TRAINED!
For a Scouting unit to utilize the aquatics facilities at a council property, adults with minimum trainings must be present and coordinating the event. The minimum trainings can be found at: https://tampabayscouting.org/camps/camp-facilities-usage.
To assist with aquatic safety for your unit, the Greater Tampa Bay Area Council’s Aquatics Committee is offering the following programs:
Friday Night - Saturday Afternoon (includes Friday cracker barrel, Saturday breakfast and lunch)
- Paddle Craft Safety-Canoeing and Kayaking - $
- Re-certification in Paddle Craft Safety (not over 6 months expired) - $
Saturday Night - Sunday Afternoon (includes Saturday cracker barrel, Sunday breakfast)
- Swimming & Water Rescue - $
- Re-certification in Swimming & Water Rescue $
- Re-certification for BSA Lifeguard - $

Dinner is available between courses Saturday night for $
Late Fee - Those registering after August 11th will incur a $5 late fee
Camping is available Friday, Saturday.
Must have current Safety Afloat and Safe Swim Defense certification. To complete these courses, please go to http://my.Scouting.org. You can log in and take the training. Please bring the completion certificates with you.
All Participants must bring a current BSA Medical form (download here).
