Withlacoochee District Pinewood Derby Race

The race is on! This year's Pinewood Derby will be held on March 8th at Sand Hill Scout Reservation Dining Hall. Doors open at 9am and race starts at 10am. 

Please read through the Racing Guide posted here on the event page as there are some guidelines to consider when participating in the races. The BEST scout Pinewood derby car is one they build. 

The Scouts can also be participate in the best themes contest. The themes this year are Patriotic, Boy Scout /Cub Scout Theme, Most Delicious, Non-Car design (Pool table, remote control, pirate ship, etc.), Funniest Design,  and Judges Favorite.  

Drinks and light snacks will be provided. 

Cub Scouts are $3

Outlaw Racers are $3 - this race is open to anyone who would like to show off their car building abilities. 

Family members and Siblings are FREE
