USA Archery Level 1 Training

Become a part of the team that helps deliver shooting sports to our Scouts! 

A current Archery Level 1 instructor who is on the Council Approved Shooting Sports Instriuctor list is required to open an archery range for unit shooting on a council property.  For more details visit: https://tampabayscouting.org/camps/camp-facilities-usage 

Instruction will cover USA Archery Level 1 Instructor program, materials and construction of a bow string and fletched arrow, as well as review of the BSA Archery Merit Badge Pamphlet.

Upon completion you are responsible for submitting your application to USA Archery and completing the USA Archery Background check. Any associated cost of these items are not included in the course fee.

All participants must be currently registered with the BSA
