Greater Tampa Bay Area Council, BSA will host Seabadge course SB-68-FL-2023, and you are invited to register and participate! The course will take place January 20-22, 2023 at Flaming Arrow Scout Reservation in Lake Wales, Florida.

Seabadge is the premier adult leadership training course offered by the Boy Scouts of America for Sea Scout leaders and those interested in the Sea Scout program. The ultimate purpose of Seabadge is to help adult leaders deliver the highest quality Sea Scouting program to young people to help them achieve their highest potential.

Eligibility

The target audience for Seabadge is Sea Scout adult leaders who will directly apply what they learn to the program. However, much of the content is applicable to anyone who works with older youth and the course is a great way to learn about the Sea Scout program. There is no requirement to be a Sea Scout Leader to attend.

Prerequisite Training

All participants must complete Youth Protection Training (YPT) and Sea Scout Adult Leader Basic Training (SSALBT) in person or through my.scouting.org.
