2020 Fort Brooke District Spring BALOO Training
Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) (C32)
This one-and-a-half day course is designed as an introduction to the Cub Scout outdoor program for leaders interested in adding a camping component to their Pack activities. BALOO training consists of an online pre-requisite component in addition to an overnight hands-on practical. BSA’s Cub Scout level camping policies will be taught along with the discovery of the necessary tools to help units carry our a successful camping experience. A MINIMUM OF ONE ADULT must be BALOO trained and present during any Cub Scout Pack overnight adventure.

BALOO is the only course you may sign up for this weekend. Do not sign up for IOLS as well.
The course runs from 7 AM Saturday Morning until 1 PM Sunday Afternoon. Meals are provided.
It is preferred that you plan to arrive Friday night and camp. Breakfast will be provided if you are camping, but there is no Food Service Friday night.
Please be sure to choose the "Camping Friday" option during registration process.
We will be providing babysitting for potty-trained and older youth for leaders taking training during the training sessions. Youth will be parent's responsibility between training sessions and overnight.
