This event is hosted by Nefketeh (Riverside) Chapter. Any OA Candidate may attend any Ordeal weekend. Click the green (Ordeal Candidate) “Register” button in the upper right corner of the screen, when you are ready to register.

Candidate Information:

Congratulations on your election or nomination to the Order of the Arrow! To become a member of Scouting's National Honor Society, you must first complete the Ordeal. The fee includes food for the weekend, your OA sash, one Tipisa Lodge flap, dues for 2023, and your OA Handbook.

              Arrive: Check-in at the Parking Area from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm                                                              Depart: 10:00 am, Sunday Jan. 8th                                                                                                             Cost: $60.00                                                                                                                                 Event Patch: $  5.00 (optional)

A need-based scholarship application is available. It must be completed 14 days prior to the event.      This application is secure and is only sent to the Lodge Adviser.      Online Scholarship Application

Staff Information:

Our January 2023 Ordeal is approaching quickly. It is our most important event of the year. Please help us create a fulfilling candidate experience and welcome our new members by serving as an Elangomat, Ceremonialist, Nimat, or helping with logistics or service.

All Members are “Staff”

         Arrive: Check-in at the Pavilion from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm                                                                        Depart: 10:30 am, Sunday Jan. 8th                                                                                                       Staff Fee:  $45.00                                                                                                                                     Late Fee:  $+5.00 if you register after the Monday before the event                                                Event Patch:  $ 5.00 (optional)

Ordeal Members

You are eligible to complete your journey to Brotherhood. We invite you to seal your membership in the Order by presenting you with the inspiration of Brotherhood counseling, the fellowship of the Brotherhood Hike, and the fulfillment of the Brotherhood Ceremony.

Use the green Ordeal Staff “Register” button in the upper right.                                                                 - Register as Staff, then add “Brotherhood Fee” ($15*).                                                                       *The Brotherhood sash cost is $20. Tipisa Lodge pays the first $5.00.
