2023 CUB SCOUT DAY CAMP - Off to the Races!


Cub Scout Day Camp offers all Scouts a fun, exciting, and productive week of Scouting for boys and girls entering 1st through 5th grade. The week will be a fun-filled, revved up adventure as cubs go "off to the races". Our Volunteer Directors are hard at work developing a program with FUN and unique ways to enjoy everything RACING. Cub Scouts receive a patch, t-shirt, and all program materials with their registration fee. Cub Scouts are expected to wear their camp t-shirt every day during camp. Extra shirts may be purchased for $13.00 each during the registration process.

Please note:  Camp t-shirts are ordered from the vendor on May 1st.  Therefore, if you register after May 1st, you will still receive a shirt, but the size cannot be guaranteed. BSA Medical Form parts A and B must be filled out for each child attending day camp, and can be found by clicking here, or are available at each camp's pre camp meeting. If you are volunteering at one of our Day Camps, please fill out the BSA Medical Form for you as well.

1st Grade Tiger Scouts MUST have an adult partner with them at camp all week per BSA guidelines!

Registration Fee: (includes a patch, t-shirt, and all program materials):

$125 per person when paid in full at least 4 weeks BEFORE the start of your Day Camp
$150 per person when paid in full WITHIN 4 weeks of the start of your Day Camp

Twighlight Camp in Challenger District Only July 10-14:

$65 per person when paid in full at least 4 weeks BEFORE the start date of Twilight Camp
$90 per person when paid in full WITHIN 4 weeks of the the start date of Twilight Camp

Day Camp Installment Plan:
Register your Scout now with a $50 deposit and pay the $75 balance at least 4 weeks before the start of your day camp to lock in the early registration price!

Day Camps cannot happen without Volunteer help!  We need YOU! Choose the amount of time you volunteer - 1/2 a day, 1 day or up to all 5 days.

  • Parents/Pack Leaders - will recieve a FREE staff T-shirt and a $25 rebate on their Cub Scouts' paid registration fee IF volunteering all 5 days of camp.
  • Youth from Troops, Crews, Ships, Posts will earn service hours, an event patch, and a staff t-shirt.

***Adult volunteers may bring their younger child(ren) - IF A TOT LOT IS PROVIDED at that specifc camp. Tot Lot children are NOT part of the Cub Program and will have tdifferent activities and crafts.***

  • Opportunity for your Scout to see you in a positive leadership role.
  • Full training provided. Learn new skills.

Here are some ways you can help:

  • Teach a craft or Scouting skill.
  • Help with check-in during the mornings.
  • Run Errands for the director.
  • Pick up ice each morning.
  • Run the Tot Lot (if your camp has a Tot Lot).
  • Help make presentations during the Spring to Packs to encourage Scouts to attend camp.

Volunteers also must fill out a medical form (see link in the attachment section of this page) and have a current Youth Protection Training certificate on file at camp. All deposits paid, either for campsite or participant are non-refundable deposits. Our team has worked with multiple Council Committees to provide guidelines aimed at keeping everyone in attendance safe and healthy.
