Event fee includes two-nights of camping at Camp La-No-Che in a group camping setting (shared sites) with Cub Scouts camping in our standard camping sites at Camp La-No-Che and Scouts and Venturers camping at Camp Rybolt.  Additional comfort facilities (bathrooms/showers) and expanded parking/shuttle service will be provided to make your experience fun and safe!

CENTRAL FLORIDA SCOUTS AND FAMILIES ARE INVITED TO ATTEND FOR ONLY $20!  While the basic fee for this event is $35, CFC members recieve an automatic discount from the annual Program Fee IF REGISTERED BY April 15, 2022. (Additional fees for meal plans, camp souviners, etc. still apply.)

CAMP-WIDE SPECIAL PROGRAMS

Council Centennial Camporee has TALENT: Come and showcase your talent at the designated times and the Top 3 acts from each Scouting Group (Cubs and Scouts BSA) will be showcased at Saturday Night’s Closing Show.

World’s Longest Scout Cracker Barrel: We are going to attempt to set a Guinness World Record and we want YOUR help!  Bring meats, cheeses, and crackers to share and help us build a “charcuterie” board (aka: cracker barrel) that is over 150 feet long and be a part of history!

Trading Cards: The history of Scouting in Central Florida has a whole list of heroes.  Participate in a Camp-Wide Trading Card game to collect all of the key players, along with Badges, Scout Skills, and MORE!

Shooting Ranges: All your favorite range sports, from Archery and BB to Rifle and Shotgun will be in full swing! Come get on target!

Climbing Wall: Think you have what it takes to climb to new heights? Prove it on our vertical climbing wall. See if you can tackle all the routes, or challenge your friends to see who can climb the fastest!

Native American Experience: Experience Native cultures and join with Native Dancers in this unique area.

Disc Golf: Play a round of Disc Golf, completing a 9-hole course then, for an added challenge, turn it around and play it from the opposite direction for a full 18-hole experience.

Animal Identification: Visit the Ecology Lodge to meet some Florida native animals, then hit the trail in search of these species in the wild!

Obstacle Course Challenges: Check out the crazy courses set up throughout camp, in both Main Camp and Rybolt, and challenge your friends to beat your best time.

Telegraph: Texting like it’s 1899!  Learn the basics of how telegraph worked, then send a message of your own!

Radio (JOTA): Hang out with the folks at K2BSA, our own local Radio Scouting group, and learn the basics of HAM radio operations.  Scouts of all ages will have fun playing games and participating in contests, all using the power of radio waves to communicate.  You may even make contact with folks from around the world!

Museums & Historical Displays: Learn about the history of Scouting, Camp La No Che, Central Florida Council, the Order of the Arrow, and the Eagle Scout Rank.

Adult Leader Experience: We know adults want to have fun, too! That’s why we will have a special “Adult Leader’s Handbook” available at check-in. By completing the items in this special grown-up challenge, adults will qualify for a special event recognition!

Flag Retirement (x100): Duty of Country is foundational to the Scouting movement. In honor of this important responsibility and to mark 100 years in Central Florida, we will be retiring 100 American Flags during a respectful ceremony during Saturday night’s show. Campers are encouraged to bring a flag or two in need of retirement (old, damaged) to share in this special moment.

AND SO MUCH MORE! Check out the PARTICIPANT GUIDE for complete details.
