DO YOU HAVE THE FASTEST CAR?

Timuqua District will be holding its annual Pinewood Derby competition this year on March 22rd from 10AM until 2PM. We are looking for Scouts and their cars from all over the district to compete against each other and see who has the fastest car in Timuqua district.

OPEN TO CUBS, FAMILY, SCOUTS SBSA, AND ADULTS There will be both a Cub Scout division and an “Outlaw” division so that everyone can partake in the fun and prizes.

AWARDS & CASH PRIZES Cash Prizes and Trophies for placement will be awarded in the Cub Scout Divisions (by rank) as well as in the Outlaw Division. There will also be certificates for the following: Most Unique, Funniest, Kid’s Choice, Best Paint Job, and District Choice. Also, there will be an award for the Scout who shows the Best Sportsmanship throughout the event. OUTLAW DIVISION In order to make sure everyone can be a part of the fun, all leaders, family members, or old Scouts can also participate. They will all run in an “Outlaw” division with modified rules. While the length, height, width and clearance rules are the same, and you can’t use combustion or electricity, most everything else is fair game. Build it, race it, have fun with!!!
