Help Camp La-No-Che Build a Foundation for Tent Camping Campaign

Brand new tent platforms are needed for tent camping at the Leonard & Marjorie William Family Scout Reservation for Camp La-No-Che!  Camp La-No-Che has over 400 tents throughout camp and we are in a campaign to replace 100 tent platforms.  The tent platforms are being built off the ground to ensure they will last longer and be a nicer experience for our Scouts and Scouters during their camping adventure.  The tent platforms are 9.6 feet wide and 7.6 feet long. 

The tent platform plan, materials, tools required (if you would also like to help build the platform) and sponsor information are provided by choosing the “Read More” button below.  You may help to sponsor and build the platform or just be a sponsor.  Each sponsored platform will have a plaque affixed to it stating whatever the sponsor would like to have engraved.  It could be your name, parent or leader names, unit numbers or special phrase you may have picked up at camp or Wood Badge.

Sponsorship Details: 

How to Sponsor:  Simply click the "Build a Foundation" button on the right and select how many platforms you would like to sponsor.  Then enter the text you would like to have engraved on the platform plaque.  If you can only sponsor a part of platform, that is ok because we would combine with other partial sponsors with the platform plaque would read “Platform sponsored by Friends of Camping”.  During the online process, you will have option to choosing helping to build the Tent Platform or just be a sponsor. 

Payment Information:  Payment can be paid using credit card, echeck through online or by mailing a check to either Council Service Center or Camp La-No-Che with the amounts of platforms being sponsored and if full sponsorship the text requested on the platform plaque.  Online payments can be made by credit card or eCheck; in person payments may be made by credit card, check, or cash at Scout Services at the Council Service Center in Apopka or Scouter Services Office (Pam Falconer office) at Camp La-No-Che.

Text Information:  The Platform Plaque may have a maximum of three (3) lines with each line having a maximum of twenty (20) characters including spaces.  You may have different text for each Tent Platform that you sponsor.  If you buy online interested in different text on the Platform Plaque, then you can make separate payment for each platform.
