Want to be a Cub Scout Rangemaster!?!? Then this training is for YOU! Come to Camp La-No-Che and learn how to run a safe and fun Cub Scout Shooting Sports program at District events like DISTRICT Cub Family Weekends and Cub Scout Day Camp.
Topics will include learning to set up BSA approved BB Gun, Archery, and Sling Shot ranges; range commands; and how to help cub scouts with shooting sports.
You MUST be 18+ years of age and provide a current Youth Protection Training Certificate to take this course.
Cost: FREE - Registration will close at 11:59PM on August 8, 2024 (2 days before the training)
Check In: Park in the MAIN parking Lot and go the camp office to check in. Check in will open at 8:30pm
Course Time/Location: 9 am at the Rifle Range. If everyone follows the list below, the course should wrap up around 12pm
You will need to bring with you:

You will be outdoors for a significant period of time, mostly in shade.
Please Note: While it is NOT mandatory, those who take this training will be asked to consider volunteering on the ranges for at least 1 future Cub Scout Event at Camp La-No-Che. Again, this is not a requirement to take the course, but it would be very helpful to the camp range staff - especially at events like Cub Halloween! Thank you!
