The annual Eagle Empire District Life to Eagle Workshop will be held on 7-9pm Tuesday October 15, 2024, at Camp Ithiel – Kramer Dining Hall (2037 Hempel Avenue, Gotha, FL 34734). The workshop is intended for Life Scouts, or nearly so, intending to earn the Eagle rank next year. Interested Scouters, Eagle Coaches, and Parents are also invited to attend.

The workshop will give Scouts a start on the Trail to Eagle and how to earn Eagle with minimum wasted effort. The workshop is a presentation by the District Eagle Committee Chair, with active discussion, visuals, and feedback sessions. The workshop topics include Eagle Requirements, Best Practices, Merit Badges, Leadership, Service Project and Workbook, Eagle Rank Application, and Paper Trail to Eagle (a process). Advice, common issues, and traps to avoid are discussed throughout.
