Eagle Empire Life To Eagle Workshop

The annual Eagle Empire District Life to Eagle Workshop will be held on 7-9pm Tuesday October 20, 2026, at Camp Ithiel – Kramer Dining Hall (2037 Hempel Avenue, Gotha, FL 34734).

The workshop is intended for Life Scouts, or nearly so, intending to earn the Eagle Scout rank next year. Interested Scouters, Eagle Coaches, and Parents are invited to attend. Those outside of the Eagle Empire District are welcome to attend, understanding the workshop focuses on the local District process.

The workshop will give Scouts a start on the Trail to Eagle and how to earn Eagle Scout Rank with minimum wasted effort.

The workshop is a presentation by the District Eagle Committee Chair, with active discussion, visuals, and feedback sessions. The workshop topics include Eagle Requirements, Best Practices, Merit Badges, Leadership, Service Project and Workbook, Eagle Rank Application, and Paper Trail to Eagle (a process). Advice, common issues, and traps to avoid are discussed throughout.

The workshop is free, but youth and adult attendees are asked to register for youth protection purposes and to assure adequate handout materials are generated.
