Hello Eagle Empire Packs and Troops!

This year we have an amazing new opportunity available for all of you. We're hosting our very first Webelos Woods, which is a specialized cub event for Webelos and Arrow of Light cubs and their parents to come do activities and get to know all of our district Scout Troop, Venturing Crew and Explorer Post options before crossover season begins.

Webelos and AOL's can stay for the day but we're encouraging them to campout for the night to get more time to understand the things they'll get to look forward to in everyday Troop life with varied Troops, Crews and Post from all over the Eagle Empire District. There will be scout led, hands on activity rotations for the Webelos and AOLs to do with the older scouts while adults will have a chance to speak to the scout leadership. After rotations, Webelos, AOLs and Scouts will have a chance to submit skits, songs or stories for the campfire program to the Webelos Woods HQ area. Plus, we're looking for Webelos and AOLs with a sweet tooth who would like to help us as Dessert Cookoff judges! The full schedule of events and Webelos Woods packet will be available soon.

Webelos Woods is being planned to educate, inform, and give great experience building stronger relationships with local Troops, Crews and Posts.  This event is being hosted by the district, so it is a free camping opportunity for you to attend. Plus, it shows younger scouts the exciting world that Scouting America that is about to open when they crossover. We're hoping to see lots of Cub and Scout BSA units there!
