Timuqua District Fall IOLS/Baloo Training 2019

Event Details

BALOO is required training for Packs that want to camp on their own (Two BALOO trained leaders must attend each campout). IOLS is required for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters. This course covers basic camping essentials, materials, and food. Working as patrols, this hands-on course provides adult leaders the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the out-of-doors. Upon completion, leaders should feel comfortable teaching Scouts the basic skills required to obtain the First Class rank. Orientation for the course is done with the online component which is taken via my.scouting.org. It is required for course completion.

 

The cost includes meals for this weekend, and all materials.:

- Friday Crackerbarrel

- Saturday Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

- Sunday Breakfast
