IOLS is required for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters.
BALOO is required for Packs that want to camp on their own
(Two BALOO trained leaders must attend each campout)
This course covers basic camping essentials, materials, and food.
Working as patrols, this hands-on course provides adult leaders the practical outdoor skills they need to lead Scouts in the outdoors. Upon completion, leaders should feel comfortable teaching Scouts the basic skills required to obtain the First Class rank.

This is a combined training, and will cover the requirements for both Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS).  Please note that camping will be required both nights in order to receive both certifications.

This course is for all registered Leaders and Adults. Must be registered at time of registration and YPT must be current.

$15 will be collected at the event to cover food and materials costs.
