Challenger District Baloo/IOLS Training

BALOO/IOLS 


Challenger District BALOO (Pack leaders) and IOLS (Troop/Crew/Ship leaders) Training will take place on 19-20 Oct. 2024 at Camp Chance.
There is no cost for Central Florida Council participants.


Out of council registrations are welcome for a cost of $25. This will need to be paid in person at the event”
Please register to reserve a spot!  This will involve one overnight camping event.  


You will need to bring your BSA health form A/B with you to the event.  
Once registered, you will receive the program packet, schedule, and further info for the training.  There is no cost to those registering within Central Florida Council.  Food will be provided.

Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS):

Gives adult leaders the practical knowledge they need to help Scouts to learn outdoor skills. The skills presented closely follow the Boy Scout Handbook and rank advancement requirements.
Camping is required this weekend to fulfill the requirement of this training.

Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO): is a training event that introduces parents and leaders to the skills needed to plan and conduct pack outdoor activities.
