Cub Scout Range Master Training (BB & Archery)

Event Details

Who wants to be a Cub Scout Rangemaster!?!?  Then this training is for YOU!  Come to Camp La-No-Che and learn how to run a safe and fun Cub Scout Shooting Sports program at District events like Cub Family Weekend and Cub Scout Day Camp.

Topics will include learning to set up BSA approved BB Gun, Archery, and Sling Shot ranges; range commands;  and how to help cub scouts with shooting sports.

Cost:  FREE

Check In: 8:30am at the Rifle/BB Range (Please park in the main parking lot and walk to the range)

Course Time:  9am - 1pm (Lunch NOT included)

You will be outdoors for a significant period of time, mostly in shade. Please be sure to wear closed toed shoes and to bring a full water bottle.

You MUST be 18+ years of age and have a copy current Youth Protection Training to take this course.

Please Note:  While it is NOT mandatory, those who take this training will be asked to consider volunteering on the ranges for at  least 1 future Cub Scout Event at Camp La-No-Che.  Again, this is not a requirement to take the course, but it would be very helpful to the camp range staff!
