Timuqua District Volunteer Awards Banquet: A Night to Remember

Dust off your dancing shoes and step back in time for an unforgettable evening as the Timuqua District rolls out the red carpet for a Prom-Themed Volunteer Awards Banquet where service, dedication, and a little nostalgia take center stage.

Join us as we celebrate the incredible volunteers who make Scouting thrive in our community.

Throughout the evening, we’ll honor outstanding leaders with:

Scouter of the Year                                                                                                                    

Cub Scouter of the Year

District Award of Merit

Awards from the Heart   (Nominations Due by April Roundtable)                                                                                                                                   

Earned Knots (that made the turn un deadline)

Enjoy a delicious dinner, great company, and a night filled with laughter, recognition, and maybe even a few throwback dance moves.

Special Twist: We’re inviting everyone to submit ahead of time, their old prom or homecoming photos yes, the big hair, bold colors, and unforgettable styles.

Let’s celebrate how far we’ve come… and maybe relive a few moments along the way.

Attire: Prom themed attire or Class A Uniform (Preferred)                                                                                    

Date: Saturday, May 2

Arrival: 6:00 PM

Location: Hopkins Hall, Lake Helen

Cost $10 per person before the event (due by April Round table) or $15 at the door, see Lisa, Diane or Heather for payment options.  

Whether you’re coming to cheer on your fellow Scouters, relive your prom glory days, or simply enjoy a well-deserved night out, this is one event you won’t want to miss.

Because behind every great Scout… is a volunteer worth celebrating.

If you have any of your own awards to present, PLEASE notify the event coordinator so they can be worked into the timeline. 

Please Note: This event is for adults only. All 2025 Eagle Scouts will be recognized at the Council Banquet on May 8, requires separate registration.
