2021 University Of Scouting 

Thank you for your interest in Central Florida Council’s 2021 University of Scouting! 

The event this year is virtual. This necessitates a reduction in the number of courses offered across all colleges. Most colleges will offer a single track of seven courses. Two, the Youth college and Scouts BSA college, are offering more classes. Registrants can select from a single college or can look around at what is available for them based on age. Colleges are Cub Scout Adult Leader, Scouts BSA Adult Leader, Adult General Studies which also consists of Commissioner Studies and Religious Studies, Venturing, and Youth. Youth ages 11 – 13 can only select courses from the Youth College. Youth 14 – 17 can select from Youth and Venturing. Adults can select from all colleges except Youth. 

A Midway will be a part of the day’s fun! Vendors will be in attendance in their own virtual rooms from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. CFC and National Council professionals and volunteers will also support the event and address attendees during the Opening.

After successfully registering individuals’ names and email addresses (not by group!), each participant will receive an automated email that will contain a link and instructions for logging in to the event. Please do not share the login URL or password. They are for registrants only.

Check In – login at 7:59AM to be part of the Opening
Opening Ceremonies - 8:00 AM

Classes start at 8:30 AM

Closing Ceremonies are planned to begin at 3:30 PM 

Costs: 

Per council announcement in February 2020, no event cost for in-council participants registering by January 15, 2021. Cost is included in CFC's annual Program Fee.
Out of Council Fee: $8.00 payable by credit card

 Instructions for online registration for University of Scouting

Click on Register button.
Then either "Continue as Guest" or "Log In", on that page select the number of registrants for this registration.
Under red Participant tab, select red "Update Information" for Registration Contact. Fill in required information.               

Scroll down to find list of available courses on the left side of the screen. Courses are listed by period, college, then course number and name. Select by clicking on desired class. Once a course is selected for 1st period, all other classes for that period will disappear, etc.         

Repeat process for each attendee attached to the registration. Change Unit Information as necessary. Add individuals’ email address – important for them to receive confirmation and event login information. Click Save.         

Click on green Proceed to Checkout button.                                                                                                                 

Click on Book Registration if a member of Central Florida Council                                                                               

Click on green Checkout tab to pay for out of council registrations. On last page, be sure to click on the box “I have read and agree to the council policies (required)”
