The Green Bar concept is simple—Train up our youth leaders and give them the confidence to lead!

Green Bar Training is led by both Scouts and adult leaders.

In applying the principles and skills acquired at Green Bar, Leaders should gain the knowledge and confidence to lead their patrols, Troops and Crews.

Youth in specific leadership roles (such as Den Chief and Chaplains Aide) have the opportunity to take the training required for their positions.

Troop level

= ILST or Patrol Method 101

= Building Blocks of Patrol Method

= Den Chief or Outdoor Ethics or Position Specific

= Scout Led Troop

= Open Forums to Discuss Various Topics ( All Groups)

Crew Level

= ILSC

= Crew Officers Orientation

= Crew Mentoring

= Scout Led Crew

= Project Management

= Youth Leadership Growth Opportunities

Adult Level

= How to Run A Patrol Led Troop

= Merit Badge Councilor Training

= Adult Chaplain Aide

= Hornaday Award

Who Should Attend? Members of the Patrol Leaders' Council, Venture Crew Leadership, Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters and Crew Advisors, Chaplain Aides, Den Chiefs and Outdoor Ethics Guides.

Class A Uniform preferred | A Canteen with snacks and drinks will be available. | All adults attending must have completed Youth Protection Training.
