You are cordially invited to support and participate in the 2018 Whitney M. Young Jr, Service Award Luncheon on Friday, September 14, 2018.  The Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award is a national recognition for those “unsung heroes” who provide exceptional service for disadvantaged youth by developing Scouting in challenging and rural areas.

The mission of the Whitney M. Young Jr. Service Award Luncheon is to celebrate community resources in support of the Scouting Program for at-risk youth and further provide experiences that develop self-esteem, character values and life skills.

For over 100 years, the Boy Scouts of America has led the nation in providing citizenship training for American youth. Through the years, Scouting has provided young people with character-development programs based on values found in the Scout Oath: duty to country, duty to others and duty to self.  Please join us for lunch on Friday, September 14, 2018 at the Marriott Orlando Downtown to help ensure that Scouting is an option for our youth during these turbulent times by joining us to celebrate this year’s Keynote Speaker Jeff Jennings, President of Jack Jennings & Sons Inc. and our Whitney M. Young Jr.  Service Award recipients. Thank you for considering this request to positively impact youth and families in our communities through Scouting.
