The West Orange County Golden Eagle Dinner is the annual fundraising event that helps make Scouting happen in Central Florida.

This year, We are pleased to honor Michael Hanley, at our 2019 event. 

The fundraising from this event helps us provide unparalleled experiences for more youth! Scouting serves more than 22,000 families throughout Central Florida, including 5,800 registered volunteers.

2018 was an incredible year for Scouting in Central Florida!  A few highlights to mention…   

• We grew our membership total by 8.5%!
   
• We invited girls to join the Cub Scout program for the very first time, and registered 2,567 new youth to the roster; ranked #2 in the nation with girl recruiting!
   
• 406 Scouts earned the rank of Eagle Scout, and completed over 69,000 hours of service to our community
   
• We were ranked #1 in the country for our Cub Scout Resident Camping program attendance
