2018 West Volusia Golden Eagle Dinner

Event Details

The West Volusia  Golden Eagle Dinner is the annual fundraising event that helps make Scouting happen in Central Florida. It brings together the business, civic and political leaders of our community to share the story of Scouting’s impact on our youth.

The Golden Eagle Dinner also affords us the opportunity to honor great community leaders for their service.

We are pleased to honor Roger Baumgartner, President of the Baumgartner Company at our 2018 event. Hosted by Donald Whalen,President of Volusia Title Services.

There is no ticket cost to attend the Golden Eagle Dinner. All attendees will be asked to make an investment in Scouting prior to or during the event.  Pledges can be paid at once, monthly or quarterly.

The fundraising from this event helps us provide unparalleled experiences for more youth! Scouting serves more than 22,000 families throughout Central Florida, including 6,500 registered volunteers.

Since our last Golden Eagle Dinner across Central Florida, 3,500 Boy Scouts attended our local summer camp program, 1,600 Cub Scouts attended our local day camps and 429 young men earned the rank of Eagle Scout, contributing over 75,000 hours of community service. Scouts also collected more than 490,000 pounds of food to help feed the hungry.
