2018 Villages Golden Eagle Pledge

The 2018 Villages Golden Eagle Dinner is the annual fundraising event that helps make Scouting happen in our community. Scouts in The Villages and surrounding areas are supported by both the Central Florida Council (Lake County Scouting) and The Greater Tampa Bay Area Council (Sumter County Scouting). The event brings together the business, civic and political leaders of our community to share the story of Scouting’s impact on our youth, and affords us the opportunity to honor great community leaders for their service.
We are pleased to honor Bradley Arnold, Sumter County Administrator at our 2018 event, hosted by Mike Gleim.
There is no ticket cost to attend the Golden Eagle Dinner. All attendees will be asked to make an investment in Scouting prior to, or during the event. Pledges can be paid at once, monthly or quarterly. As a donor, you have the option to designate your gift to the Central Florida Council (to support Scouts in Lake County), the Greater Tampa Bay Area Council (to support Scouts in Sumter County) or to have your gift split evenly between the two councils. It does not matter which county you live or work, the choice is yours where you’d like your investment to go.
The fundraising from this event helps us provide unparalleled experiences for more youth! With your gift we have the opportunity to expand programs, train leaders, assist youth facing financial hardships by providing camp scholarships, books, and uniforms, and provide a safe place for Scouts to learn & grow.
