Leadership Training

The Central Florida Council Training Committee is pleased to offer

National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) in the Summer of 2019. 

Qualifications needed:

At least 14 years old (scouts) – 14 years old (Venturers).
At least First Class rank (scouts only).
Experienced serving in a troop/crew position of responsibility or moving to a leadership position in their unit.
Previous long-term camping experience – full knowledge of basic cooking and knots/lashing very helpful.
Be recommended/ approved by Scoutmaster or Venturing Crew Leader (adult).
Participant must attend the full week of training to receive a certificate of completion.
There are only 48 spaces available, so register early to guarantee your place.

Please carefully consider the Scouts/Venturers you send to NYLT – the amount of benefit a young person will get from this training is directly proportional to their level of maturity, attitude, and focus.

Course Dates: June 9-14, 2019 at Camp La-No-Che
