Welcome to the registration page for the Tipisa Lodge Chapter Ordeals
Ordeal Weekend #3 at Camp LaNoChe.
This weekend Kikape, Micco-Tomokee & Nefketeh will be hosting the Ordeal.

Event Summary:

Date: Jan 18-20, 2019
Where:  Camp La-No-Che - campsites 14,15 & 16 (More information will be available at Registration) (click here for a map if needed)
Tents: There are no tents available at camp during these weeks - you will need to bring your own tents.
Time: Registration is from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm - Please arrive on time. (The location for Registration is still being determined - more information will be sent out to those registered at a later date)
Costs:Candidates $48.00 and Staff - $35.00
Be sure to bring your completed & signed BSA Medical Form (Parts A & B) to check-in. (click here if you need the forms) Please do not bring the originals - copies only.
Please advise the chapter leadership (contact information below) of any medical concerns, including food allergies.
Brotherhood is being offered. you are invited to seal your membership in Brotherhood to members who have been an ordeal member at least for 10 months (Your Ordeal date must be before March 19th 2018)
A new member orientation will be held Sunday morning for candidates and parents, the location will be announced at registration. The event will conclude after the orientation, around 11:00 am.
Registration closes Monday, Jan 14, 2019 at Midnight - Walk-Ins are welcome; if you plan on attending but cannot preregister, please contact the leadership named below.

Candidate Information:

Congratulations on your election or nomination to the Order of the Arrow!
Your peers have recognized your unmatched commitment to the Scout Oath and Law, and have proposed you to the Order.
To become a member of Scouting's National Honor Society, you must first complete the Ordeal.
For Candidates the event cost is $48.00, which includes food for the weekend, your OA sash, one Tipisa Lodge flap, dues for 2019, and your OA Handbook.
A need-based scholarship application is available - Click here for the Online Scholarship Application 
This application must be completed 14 days prior to the event. (For this event 01/04/2019). This application is secure and is only sent to the Lodge Adviser.Please arrive in work clothes, as the Ordeal includes various service projects to camp. Pack your standard camping gear, as well as your field uniform.
In a separate bag, pack your work gloves, sleeping bag, ground cloth, water bottle, rain gear, jacket, hat, and pocket knife.

Staff Information:

Our Ordeal is approaching quickly. Assist us in making our most important event of the year successful, Welcoming our new members.
You can serve in many ways: as an Elangomat, Ceremonialist, assist with logistics or service, of fulfill one of many other duties. Your help is critical.
Elangomat Fee: FREE!    Please contact the weekend leadership if this is your intention so we can approve your free registration - Thank you for your service to the chapter and camp.
General Staff Fee: $35.00
Your dues must be current to attend. You can pay them online at www.tipisa.org/membership
Registration Deadline: January 14, 2019 at Midnight.
Optional Extras: Event Patch ($4.00, limit 1)
Seal your membership in the Order of the Arrow - if you have been an Ordeal Member for at least 10 months (March 19th 2018 or prior) you can sign up for Brotherhood for an additional $15 for your new sash.
The Brotherhood Day option is for Saturday only - no camping - Saturday Lunch, Dinner and Cracker Barrel are included. Cost is $34.00 - includes the 2 meals plus cracker barrel and the Brotherhood Sash.
