• Helpful hints to be successful.

Who should attend: Scouts (and their parents) who want to become Eagle Scouts and other interested individuals.

Attending Scouts should BE PREPARED by:

• Being on time.
• Being in a Scout uniform.
• Having a pen or pencil and paper for note taking.
• Having a parent or guardian attend with them.
• Pre-Registering

Scouts: Pre-registration is required. No Walks, Please. You must pre-register by emailing your name, unit number, and the date you will turn 18 by 11/13/2024 to: Bill Mayo, Washington DC District Training Chair, at training@scoutingindc.org. Please make sure you copy an adult (your parent or Scoutmaster) on your email to me when registering otherwise I cannot confirm your registration nor send you the information you need for this training.

Parents: Please resist registering your scout for this training. Have your scout pre-register and copy you on the email to me.

Leaders: YPT requires that I have another registered adult leader in attendance. Also, there must be an attending registered female adult leader if there is an attending female scout. Units sending female scouts will need to provide the appropriate leadership according to YPT. Adult leaders, please advise me by 11/10/2024 that you are attending.
