NCAC Venturing Officers’ Association (VOA) along with Venturing Crew 893 will be hosting the 2024 Older Youth Barbeque on September 22nd from 2:00PM to 6:00PM at the Centerville United Methodist Church Activity Field/Pavilion: 6321 Old Centerville Rd, Centerville, VA 20121. 

Join us for fun and fellowship!!! Open to all youth of Venturing age (14-21). With a special shout out to Scouts BSA of Venturing age and Sea Scouts!

The afternoon will be filled with games and activities such as Gaga Ball, Cornhole, and more!! Feel free to bring your favorite yard or board games to share with everyone else!

Food will be provided. Choose from hamburgers, hot dogs, and/or pulled pork sandwiches! We will also have some great BBQ side dishes! 

Participate in the dessert competition giving you annual bragging rights for the best dessert! There will be youth and adult categories! Desserts are to be pre-made, no cooking on-site. Please submit the recipe along with your entry at check-in!

Participate in our food drive! Bring something that can be donated to the local food bank!

Registration fee is $15 per participant.

Please wear your crew t-shirt/activity shirt, no green shirt required. 

Park in the main parking lot and cross Old Centerville Rd. to a metal gate. Through the gate will be the activity field and pavilion where the barbecue will be held.
