Washington, D.C. District – Merit Badge University at CUA

The Washington, D.C. District is excited to announce that CUA Merit Badge University is BACK this fall! Scouts are invited to join Merit Badge Counselors and volunteers for two days of advancement and learning at The Catholic University of America.

Dates: Saturday, November 1, & Sunday, November 2, 2025

Registration Closes: Tuesday, October 29, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET

Registration Includes: Participation in up to four merit badges

Merit Badges Offered

All sessions are four-hour or all-day.

Scouts will have the opportunity to work on Bugling, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the World, Communication, Emergency Preparedness, Environmental Science, First Aid, Geocaching, Journalism, Programming, Robotics, Scouting Heritage, Signs, Signals, and Codes, Stamp Collecting, and Sustainability.
