2019 FSK Fall Cook-O-Ree
October 18-20, 2019


Five stations all centered around the Eagle required, Cooking Merit Badge.
Surprise ingredient added to your menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner & dessert.
Eligible to attend: Scouts, Venturers, Sea Scouts, Registered Webelos (hosted by a troop) and adult leaders.
Prizes for First, Second & Third. Judged by peers and chefs/cooks.
Bonus: Scavenger Hunt with Ghost Patch award (limited number of patches made)




 

***2019 Fall Cook-O-Ree RULES***
• Camp sites will be filled on a first come first served basis, BASED on receipt of registration. There is a limited number of participation slots available.
• Preregistration is a must. It is necessary to adequately order the amount of program supplies needed for this style Camporee.
• The participation fee is non-refundable after October 3, 2019 and only transferable to another Scout. If you register 10 scouts and show up with 7, you must still pay for 10 as we already ordered and paid for the program supplies and they cannot be returned!
• Accident and Liability insurance is provided by the National Capital Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. A portion of your registration fee goes to NCAC for insurance.
• The unit leaders are responsible for bringing a copy of the individual permission slips and medical forms 1,2 or 1,2,3 for the unit. All campers/participants (including all adults on the Camporee grounds) MUST be registered with the Camporee staff and have a copy of their Medical Class 1,2 or 1,2,3 form available.
• ANY SPECIAL HEALTH ISSUES & FOOD ALLERGIES MUST BE NOTED WITH REGISTRATION.
• NO PERSONAL BOWS, FIREARMS OR OTHER WEAPONS ARE ALLOWED AT THE CAMPOREE.
• Leave No Trace camping is in effect for the Camporee.
• All washing of dishes (and pots and pans) must take place at the unit’s site using the three-pot method.
• There must be adult supervision in your campsite at all times youth are present at the site.
• No transporting of any individual in the bed or on the tailgate of a pick-up truck.
• DO NOT feed or bother any wildlife.
• No laser pointers.
