NCAC Venturing Officers’ Association (VOA) will be hosting the 2026 Council Venturing Officers Association (CVOA) Barbeque on September 27th from 2:00PM to 5:00PM at the Centreville United Methodist Church Activity Field/Pavilion: 6321 Old Centreville Rd, Centreville, VA 20121.  

Join us for Venturing fun and fellowship!!! Open to all Venturers and all youth of Venturing age. (14-21) Bring a friend! 

We will be having a tropical theme so come with Hawaiian shirts, Waterguns and Sunglasses for eye protection! The afternoon will be filled with games and activities such as Gaga Ball, Watergun fights, and more!! Feel free to bring your favorite yard or board games to share with everyone else! 

Food will be provided. Choose from hamburgers, hot dogs, and/or pulled pork sandwiches! We will also have some great BBQ side dishes!  

Participate in the dessert competition giving you a crisp “high five” from the CVOA president and annual bragging rights for the best dessert! There will be youth and adult categories! Desserts are to be pre-made, no cooking on-site. Please submit the recipe along with your entry at check-in! 

Along with that we will be hosting a food drive! Bring something that can be donated to the local food bank such as canned goods, dry goods, and soaps. 

Registration fee is $15 per participant. 

Please try to wear something Hawaiian themed (Scout appropriate), but you can also wear your crew t-shirt/activity shirt, and no green shirt required.  

Park in the main parking lot and cross Old Centreville Rd. to a metal gate. Through the gate will be the activity field and pavilion where the barbecue will be held.
