White Oak District Lion Roar 2018

Lead: Troop 763 & Pack 499

Who:  All new Lions and Their Partners. Lions MUST have a Lion Partner (over age 18) in attendance for the entire event. Cost for the pair is $5.00.

What:  Lion Roar is a fun activity to learn about Scouting. It will be co-located with WEBELOS Weekend so that you will be able to see WEBELOS and Boy Scouts in action and visit some of their events such as: a rope bridge.

When:  Saturday, October 27, 2018; From 10:45 am until 12:45 pm

Where:  Camp Bennett, 20501 Georgia Ave, Brookville, MD; Same location as WEBELOS WEEKEND

Planning:

1. Parents may register their Lion Scouts in advance by choosing 'Individual Registration'. Please provide your child/children's names. If you know the pack number, please enter, but it's not required to register.

2. Packs can prepay for all Lions from their pack attending the event by choosing 'Pack Registration'. If registering as a pack, no names are needed at time of registration, but please provide if available. Note that all Lions must check in upon registration.

3. Walk-in's are allowed, but please preregister to make sure we have enough crafts material. Note that walk-in's are not guaranteed a craft project.

4. Dress for being active outdoors and for the day’s weather (rain or shine). Be prepared!

5. Eat a good breakfast before you come. Bring water to drink and a light snack to eat.
