WHAT: Fun Activities & Recruiting New Cub Scouts

• Other Events, such as (open to your ideas, “carnival” style fun events):
  • Recruiting – bring a friend to join scouting to any of the three events.
  • And too many activities to mention here!

WHEN: Sunday, October 4, 2026

Lion Roar:   1:30 - 2:30 pm (Lions only event, Kindergarten)
Tiger Hunt:  2:30 - 3:30 pm (Tigers only event, First Grade)
Cub Adventure Day: 2:00 - 5:00 pm (All Cub Scout Ranks). Come and go anytime during event hours 

WHERE: Colesville Presbyterian Church, 12800 New Hampshire Av, Silver Spring, MD – On their big front yard.

COST: $5 per person, including additional family members (siblings) and non-scout friends. If two parents are attending, only one parent needs to register and pay. For Lions or Tigers, check with your pack prior to registering individually. For Wolves, Bears, Webelos and Arrow of Light partipants, please register through your pack or den leader ONLY.

• Please register for all events in advance.
• Note that registering for Lion Roar and/or Tiger Hunt includes all Cub Adventure Day activities. Lions and Tigers must have adult partners attend. 
• Non-Scout friends and their parents are also welcome to attend and can register at the event; payment is accepted by credit card only, although registration can be completed in advance.
• Dens must register all their scouts and den leaders (two are required) on a single registration form. Do not register individually. 
• If your den is not attending, parents may register their scout using registration option 1.

NOTE: This is an outdoor event, dress for being active outdoors and for the day’s weather (rain or shine). Be prepared! Bring water to drink and a light snack to eat. Please note that the event is subject to cancellation in the event of extreme weather conditions.
